Get to I-275 and take Exit 28 = Gandy Blvd.
Go West to Seminole about 6 miles. Note that Gandy changes name to Park Blvd. about a mile in. You’re
getting close when you pass 66th street intersection, then the large Flea market on your right. Go thru the
next big intersection [Park St/Starkey] for 1/2 mile to a traffic light, and the Seminole Park entrance on your
right.

Follow the park road past the bike rental and playground on the right, then BEAR RIGHT INTO THEPARKIING LOT FOR SHELTER NUMBER 8

Grill is large enough for 4, another smaller grill on the other side of the shelter.
Plenty of seating in the shelter Distance from the shelter to the main part of the lake, 250 ft.
Restrooms are close as is a narrow finger of the lake
ATTENTION
Need to know by Wed., May 3rd. howmany people will be
bringing their own food.
FAMILY STUFF
Bike rentals and playground down the road
1 mile and two mile hiking/biking/skating trails right near the shelter.
There is a three section boat ramp nearby, but it may be too busy on Saturday to seine there
There appears to be area to land a seine a short walk from the shelter
Water level a little low, but not too bad
Grass about 18” at bank
Bank not steep Water does not appear to drop off, but not tested
All snakes, bugs and other vermin were sent a memo ordering them to leave the region for the day
